My story

On Friday 29th March the Spotlight team will be taking over the schedule from noon until midnight on HCR104fm, curating a day of special one-off programmes featuring guests and live music.

Matt will be presenting live on-air for the full 12 hours (assisted by producers Mel, Martin and Paul) to raise money for the National Autistic Society in advance of World Autism Acceptance Week.

12pm: The Friday Supplement - Including a guide to local arts events and news with the Spotlight team, plus an interview with comedian Becky Jade.

1pm: Songs In Video Games - Featuring an interview with Music Designer and Composer Annina Melissa, plus live music from The British IBM.

2pm: Brief Encounters Returns - BID Huntingdon Town Manager and Commemoration Hall Trustee Paul Sweeney talks us through some of his favourite tracks.

3pm: Festival Favourites - Playing artists who have appeared at local festivals, plus a guide to what's coming up this year. We'll also be speaking to Marketing Director Fionnuala Lennon about the Ely Folk Festival. 

4pm: Film Soundtracks - Including analysis from Spotlight's regular film critic Elliott.

5pm: Daytime Dance Decades - 90s Special

6pm: The Mindful Mixtape - A peaceful playlist of relaxing, thoughtful tracks.

7pm: Over To You - We hear from Angela and Guy Makey from Niche Comics in Huntingdon, plus an interview with the Autism Centre of Excellence in Cambridge.

8pm-12am: Spotlight All Night - An extended edition of the local arts show, featuring live music from Jo Ash, Chris Fox, Rhys Wilson, Stella Hensley and Chris Newman
